Wagner Hall — A Charleston Original
White ceremony chairs and a wooden arbor facing the marsh and river at sunset

Weddings at Wagner Hall

Married on the Ashley River.

The vows happen at the river. The evening happens in the hall. Everything in between happens on the grounds.

The Ceremony

Vows by the water.

Ceremonies are held at the outdoor stage beneath the magnolias, on the grounds along the Ashley River.

Between the Moments

Stay outside a little longer.

After the ceremony, the day moves out across the grounds. Cocktails on the waterfront, time on the dock, and a riverside pavilion close by when guests want some shade.

Then it is time to head inside.

The Reception

Dinner, toasts, and a dance floor.

Wagner Hall is the principal indoor space: a hall with room for 200 seated or 250 standing guests, a stage, and a 20 × 60 ft dance floor. A full bar and full kitchen are on site, and you choose your caterer.

The Alley is a bowling alley on the grounds, available for private rental. Couples may want it for a welcome party, a rehearsal gathering, or an after-party. It is a separate space and is not automatically part of a wedding rental, so ask us how to add it.
